Arnoglossum diversifolium, commonly known as Variableleaf Indian Plantain, is a perennial herbaceous plant native to the eastern United States, particularly found in regions ranging from New York to Florida and westward to Illinois and Texas. This species typically inhabits moist, open woodlands, meadows, and along roadsides, thriving in well-drained, fertile soils. The growth habit of A. diversifolium can reach heights of 60 to 120 centimeters, exhibiting a clumping form with multiple stems arising from a central root system.
