Smooth Baccharis

Baccharis plummerae ssp. glabrata, commonly known as Smooth Baccharis, is a subspecies of the Baccharis plummerae, belonging to the Asteraceae family. This plant is native to the southwestern United States and parts of Mexico, particularly thriving in arid and semi-arid regions. It is often found in disturbed areas, such as roadsides and open fields, where it can establish itself in various soil types, including sandy and gravelly substrates.
