Spear Saltbush

Atriplex patula, commonly known as Spear Saltbush, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the family Amaranthaceae. This species is native to a wide range that includes North America, particularly the western United States, as well as parts of Europe, Asia, and Australia. Spear Saltbush typically grows in arid and semi-arid environments, often found in saline or alkaline soils, which are characteristic of disturbed habitats such as roadsides, salt flats, and coastal areas.
