Yellow Milkvetch

Astragalus flavus, commonly known as Yellow Milkvetch, is a perennial herbaceous plant belonging to the legume family, Fabaceae. This species is native to the western United States, particularly found in the regions of the Rocky Mountains and surrounding foothills, with a distribution that includes states such as Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado.
