Fewflower Evening Primrose

Camissonia breviflora, commonly known as Fewflower Evening Primrose, is a perennial herb native to the southwestern United States and northwestern Mexico. This species typically grows to a height of 12 to 24 inches, forming a loose, spreading mat that can cover considerable ground. The leaves are narrow, lanceolate, and often have a slightly hairy texture, providing a distinctive appearance that complements its delicate flowers. The blooms are bright yellow, cup-shaped, and usually open in the evening, attracting nocturnal pollinators such as moths.
