California Prickbush

Adolphia californica, commonly known as California Prickbush, is a perennial shrub native to the coastal regions of California and northern Baja California, Mexico. This species typically grows in arid and semi-arid environments, often found in sandy or rocky soils. The growth habit of California Prickbush is characterized by its low, sprawling form, reaching heights of approximately 1 to 3 feet (0.3 to 0.9 meters).
