Arceuthobium gillii, commonly known as Huachuca Mountain Dwarf Mistletoe, is a hemiparasitic plant species belonging to the family Viscaceae. This species is native to the southwestern United States, particularly found in the Huachuca Mountains of southeastern Arizona and extending into parts of northern Mexico. It typically grows on various coniferous hosts, primarily pines, and is adapted to high-elevation environments, often thriving in mountainous regions where it can access the host’s vascular system for nutrients and water.
