It typically grows in shaded, moist habitats, often found in rocky crevices, on cliffs, and in woodlands, where it can thrive in acidic soils. The growth habit of Parsley Spleenwort is characterized by its erect, tufted form, reaching heights of approximately 20 to 40 centimeters. The fronds are deeply lobed and have a distinctive appearance reminiscent of parsley, which contributes to its common name.
