Forked Spleenwort

Asplenium septentrionale, commonly known as Forked Spleenwort, is a perennial fern belonging to the family Aspleniaceae. This species is predominantly found in the northern regions of North America, particularly in areas ranging from Canada to the northeastern United States. It typically thrives in moist, shaded environments, often growing on rocky substrates such as cliffs, ledges, and in crevices of rocks, where it can access adequate moisture without being submerged.
