The leaves of Asclepias linearis are narrow and linear, measuring 5 to 20 centimeters in length and 1 to 2 centimeters in width, with a smooth texture and a bluish-green color. The flowers, which bloom from late spring to early summer, are arranged in umbel-like clusters and are typically pink to purple in color, featuring five petals that are reflexed at the tips.
